We love the idea of creating something personal for a hen party. It doesn’t have to be anything big. In fact it can be something as small as Hen Party Pass The Parcel!

An oldie but a goodie, we all know how to play Pass The Parcel! There’s no getting away from some organised fun when it comes to hen parties. If you’re planning a hen do, it’s always a good idea to have a few organised activities up your sleeve in case the energy starts to lag. The key to a good hen party is keeping momentum. Games, activities and a well thought out plan will keep the hen party going.

Of course we are biased – we are a little bit obsessed with hen party games at The Lovely Little Label. But in our humble opinion, hen party games are a MUST! They get the party started and break the ice.

The Prep

For those of you who were not lucky enough to have played this party game, you simply wrap up one small gift. You then wrap the wrapped gift up with more paper and include another gift in that layer. You keep adding more layers and wrapping more gifts until you have everything included. You can either use your own wrapping paper or purchase a kit like this one which include15 forfeit cards, 10 sheets of wrap paper, confetti and winner glasses

Bring the bride to be and hens together and start the celebrations off with a fun game of Pass the Parcel! Kit comes complete with confetti, wrapping paper, 'Winner' Glasses and forfeit cards - all the gorgeous pink and rose gold design.

Use our kit to wrap a cute present with our gorgeous pink wrapping paper. Fill in the cards with fun forfeits and place between each layer for endless mounts of fun!

The Gifts

Our favourite way of doing this is getting the guests to bring a gift that reminds them of a memory with the bride to be. This will involve you wrapping the game at the hen party which isn’t always ideal. If you don’t want to go down this route, you can get small gifts for the game yourself.

Play on Player

You’ll need some music playing with everyone around in a circle. Stop the music at intervals and the person holding the parcel gets to open it. If you decide to play our favourite way, the bride to be then has to guess who brought that gift and why they would have chosen that gift. This is a really nice way of sharing stories and memories with all the girls.

Its all about the Bride

Fix it so that the bride gets the last gift which is specifically for her. When we played this game we had a memory book for the bride to be as her surprise gift.  Pick some songs that are personal to the bride to be. It’s all about her remember!
